Enterprise vision and ML delivery for Fortune 500 clients, with Google's services team

Led by Ansuj Joshi as machine learning engineer at Quantiphi Analytics, May 2018 to Dec 2019, including work with Google Professional Services as Associate Cloud Engineer

Situation

Fortune 500 clients, including Disney, needed computer vision, NLP and predictive analytics shipped on cloud infrastructure.

What we built

A real-time computer-vision safety system on Kubernetes with autoscaling, and an Agile ML API on GCP AI Platform.

What changed

Deployment time for ML APIs fell by 60%.

The problem

Enterprise ML projects fail at the last mile: getting a model into an API that scales, is monitored, and ships on a schedule.

What we built

  • A real-time CV safety system deployed on Kubernetes with autoscaling.
  • An Agile ML API pattern on GCP AI Platform, built with Google PSO, that made deployment a repeatable step.

How it works

  • Models are packaged as services with a standard interface; deployment is a pipeline, not a project.

What changed

60%

faster ML API deployment
