Landid, land records · 2026

A buyer could not tell whether a parcel's records matched the broker's story

Built by Vyzma. Led by Ansuj.

Situation

Land records sit on state portals that are slow, geo-blocked outside India and written in local languages, so buyers took the broker's word for it.

What we built

A lookup that pulls government land records and produces a buyer-facing diligence report with the parcel drawn on a map.

What changed

It is in use alongside Agriva listings.

The problem

Verifying a parcel in Karnataka means survey numbers, village names, portals like Kaveri and Bhoomi, and PDFs in Kannada. Few buyers do it, and brokers rarely volunteer it.

Agriva needed a diligence signal on each listing that did not depend on the broker's own claims.

What we built

  • A record lookup that resolves a survey number and village to the government record, working around portal availability from outside India.
  • A buyer-facing diligence report built from the government record.
  • A Mapbox view that draws the parcel boundary so a buyer can see the land, not just the number.

How it works

  • The lookup is a pipeline: resolve identifiers, fetch records, extract fields, compare with the listing, render the report.
  • The report is shown with the parcel on the map, next to the listing.

What changed

  • In use alongside Agriva listings.
